This is the best poem ever written and put to music!
It was written in 1927 by Max Ehrman a poet and lawyer. In his diary he wrote this about Desiderata...."I should like if I could leave a humble gift...a bit of chaste prose that had caught up some noble truths"
It became a huge hit in the 70"s. I challenge you to tell me if any other poem can move you like this one. Ok, I'm biased, I love it and it brings back great memories.
